Mikiko Fukamachi - Principal Interior Designer, DID
Born and raised in Vancouver, Mikiko began her journey in the world of interior design by completing the full time Interior Design program at BCIT. She has also worked in construction project management at a general contracting firm where she was able to gain valuable knowledge and understanding of the process once a design project goes into construction.
Her passion for interior design led her on the road of entrepreneurship where she takes on new clients mostly through referrals and continues to successfully do collaborative work with a fellow Vancouver design team along with a design build firm. Mikiko enjoys meeting new people and is always open to new clients and collaborative team work.
Mikiko’s design philosophy is to bridge the connection between people and their environment by designing spaces that exhibit creativity with form and function. Her creative talent and ability to visualize along with her strong technical and organizational skills has played a key role in successfully completing various projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
